I'm going to call an end to my three month dual blog experiment, making this black blog an archive from April 1st and going back to only using my purple blog. I've been tossing and turning over which one to go with for weeks and have probably left confused and conflicted posts all over the place about this.
But ultimately the purple blog is getting more hits than the black one, even without having the www.sift.co.nz URL pointing at it. So I've decided to go back to using that.
Apart from the fact that it's been online longer, other possible reasons it gets more traffic, are that the purple theme stands out like dog's balls, the SIFT666 URL rather than the SIFT2025 URL might attract satanic crawlers, and the older content probably pulls in more search engine results.
